Sunanda eye Hospital was conceptualized to address the growing demand of quality and specialized eye care in Hassan and Tiptur region at an affordable cost, to ensure that the entire spectrum of eye diseases could be treated at one place itself. Apart from addressing general ophthalmology services like Refractive errors and Cataract, Sunanda eye hospital in Hassan is a superspeciality center for Retinal surgery and Glaucoma services.

Recognizing the unmet needs of eye care in suburban areas and rural Hassan region, two additional vision centers were established to cater to patients in these areas. A weekly OPD is functional in Shakleshpur and a bi-weekly OPD has been started at Belur.

The center also provides charitable services and we are affiliated to the District Blindness Control Society and routinely perform free cataract surgeries for the needy patients.
